The Nile invites you to explore the archaic & thrilling outback landscapes of Africa. Rich in biological diversity and cultural heritage, Africa offers an unbounded adventure from your conventional routine. With its ancient trees, charming chorus of birds, aggregations of animals scattered across a vast terrain and predators on the prowl, this is a travel experience unique from any other. It is a chance to tune into your primitive and natural senses, learn skills and gain valuable knowledge from an experienced naturalist.

As the night stirs in, we celebrate and view the dynamic orange hews as the sun sets over the horizon, and witness natures shift in favour of hungry predators. Conducted in the comfort of an open 4x4 safari vehicle, a night game drive is a treasured safari on which you will encounter nocturnal animals such as hippos, lions, leopards, genets, porcupines, civet cats, white-tailed mongoose, aardvarks and cape hares.

Whether you prefer the experience of a rugged canvas tent or the comfort of one of Africa's most luxurious boutique lodges, we assure you that your travels will only support ethically sound practices on the grounds in Africa. Giving more back to the earth, then you are taking, is a guiding principle that these organizations and lodges have adopted and become very successful at. By spending time talking to friends on the ground in Africa on a daily basis and by visiting all of our countries regularly, we are on top of current conservation projects, research projects and community projects – all of which add a wonderfully rare element to any of our safaris.

The Nile has a strong commitment to responsible tourism and offers reliable, low-impact luxury holidays across Africa: reaching from Nairobi to the Cape. We are excited to work with you in creating a personal itinerary that meets all of your desires and any financial limitations. We believe that the most valuable things in this world cannot be bought, they must be lived.
