When to go
South Africa is a year round destination—there is an astounding variety of different trips to experience and every month has its highlights, so the crucial task is to match the trip with the season. Safari peaks in the dry season, from May through October, when there is little cover for animals to hide behind. The green season however, from October through May, is when the Cape region is at its best, and the landscape all across the country is more beautiful and lush. If you have a specific interest, let us know and we can help you plan your trip accordingly.
Things To See
The South African Experience often begins in Kruger National Park, tracking the Big Five & other endangered species, & finishes in Cape Town. Venture to the southernmost tip of Africa for encounters with ostriches, monkeys and penguins, & perhaps catch a glimpse of the Southern right whale along the way. Other spectacles include; Visit the cradle of Humankind; Kayak down the Orange River; Walk through Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens; Dine along the Stellenbosch Wine Route; See penguins at Boulder Beach & all of Cape from the top of Table Mountain.
